Yesterday morning I woke up to a a blanket of snow, as I was enjoying my morning coffee and quiet time I hear my son bound down the stairs and upon looking out the window I hear “YES! NO SCHOOL!” I giggled out loud and it started our day just right. Happily I only had a few hours of work scheduled so that left plenty of time for play. We dressed in layers, I packed up my new point and shoot camera then we headed out into the NorEaster.

We had a blessed day abundant with fun, laughter, cuddles and hot chocolate.

A day with the kids

Sometimes the best memories are unplanned. On the way out the door to pick up the kids from school I glanced at my schedule and jumped for joy that my afternoon was clear. I grabbed my camera and an afternoon snack. We headed over to West Farms creamy and had a fabulous time. It was so cold and I had no intention of taking so many photos. I am so glad I did.

October?

Is October really over? Where did it go? Life seems to be going a bit too fast since school started. I think is is now official-the holiday season is here. I am so excited! I even bought some Christmas presents online this weekend. I also have a trip to NYC planned to meet up with a best girlfriend and photographer Christa Meola to take our family photos! I can’t wait!

Photo are from an afternoon after school when I took the kids up to our local farm for a few photos and pumkins. I hope to edit and get the photos blogged soon.

Hylands Brewery | Sturbridge MA photographer

A few weeks ago we went up to Hylands Brewery for a few hours with a few of our friends and neighbors. Hylands is always a blast, the kids run around, dance, see the animals, play on the playground and pick apples. The Dads get to pretend they are going for the kids when the truth is they love going for the live music and Pioneer Beer! LOL I wont hold it against them

I was able to take out my camera for a few snapshots while picking apple in the orchard.
