Celebrate Angela! I love that her 40th birthday gift to herself was a photo shoot designed to honor who she is right now. How often do we as woman do anything for ourselves much less something that celebrates our beauty and body? We can all learn something from Angela. I think she is absolutely stunning!

We had a blast together, a true day with girlfriends complete with friend turned make-up artists, hair dresser and music directer. Thanks for a wonderful day with amazing women.

Sometimes we start off wanting to do the boudoir photo session for a special occasion or the man in our life, but who this is truly for is YOU.

The most important part of boudoir photography is capturing a women in a way that she wants to be remembered. Her best self, the woman she loves, feminine, beautiful, sexy and more. It can be different for each woman but we all have a essence that lights us up somewhere.  In our session together you will remember and experience your own beauty, love it and celebrate it! The stunning images will be the icing on the cake to the fun we have in your session.

If you read my blog you know I did a portrait workshop in Saint Michael’s I flew home for a week and did a photo shoot one of which was for a magazine cover! I am very excited about the shoot and will post the cover when it is released.

Next stop, Santa Monica California for a 5 days with Christa Meola. Christa is an AMAZING photographer, mentor and friend. I attended her sexy sold out Boudoir workshop. I learned a ton and can’t wait to share the photos. Christa and I also devoted a few days to work on a new project together that I am excited to announce soon.

I have always loved boudoir images and admired the photographers that capture real women. I am excited to share the images from my first boudoir session. If this makes you uncomfortable simply scroll past the post. If you are interested, the password to view is: boudoir.

I have always loved classy boudoir images and jumped at the chance to photograph this beautiful woman. Most of the women I know are often looking at the parts of us that we want to change. How often do we look at our bodies and think, wow, this is me and I love her.  As a mom I know I  forget to acknowledge my femininity. Lets face it its easy to forget as we clean the house, deal with temper tantrums, manage play dates, wipe snotty noses and make dinner. I dont know about you, but its not often that after a day with the kids where I feel like putting on something that makes me feel sexy and alive.

I love boudoir images because we remember… We remember that we are beautiful, sexy, soft feminine beings. I want to capture the images where you will  look at yourself and say “I am beautiful”.  Maybe this is the life coach in me or just a bond created from being a part of a sisterhood, either way my intention is to honor the feminine in you that we too often hide away.  These images are for you. Although, they do make great gifts for the men in our life. :)
