My friend Sarah will be running the Boston Marathon on behave of the Melanoma Foundation. The Melanoma Foundation of New England is on the forefront of the fight against Melanoma each day. Every kind donation will go directly to the foundation to support the early detection and prevention programs as well as provide assistance to families dealing with a melanoma diagnosis.

Please visit Sarah’s site, read her story and make a donation for the cause. I know we are all pinching our pennies a bit more these days but even a small donation makes a difference.

I just adore Andre and Rejane. They are so happy and passionate with each other. Earlier this week I went by their place to take a few more photos of this beautiful baby belly.

Rejane’s Mom and Dad are visiting from Brazil to welcome their new grandson into the world. I just love their hands on her belly.

I thought I would post a few more of this fun session I had with these Wilbraham siblings.

The dog is so cute listening to the them read a favorite story from their childhood.

Baby C has the largest most beautiful brown eyes I have very seen. She is an absolute dream! I cant wait to focus my camera on her again!

Kirsten and I finally got together to take some photos of this sweet baby. We had no chance for this little guy staying asleep for the photo session. I think we did pretty good considering we had three boys running around with light sabers, my little miss J  getting into the frame insisting on being my assistant and 3 men (Papa, Andy and AE) banging on the roof! Congrats! Baby G is beautiful!

These good looking Wilbraham siblings  gave their Mom the gift photos for Christmas. With the crazy Holiday schedules and Sam and Aurora in college we just did their shoot. They grew up going to Sturbridge Village so we braved the cold and headed out!

Beautiful Isabella is a junior in high School and looking forawrd to a trip with her Dad to Africa.

Sam is a freshman Enginering Major at Buffalo University.

Aurora is junior in college, Musical Theater major, leaving the cold behind and  studying at Disney this semester. She plans on  going into arts administration.

Seven years ago today I married my wonderful husband. It was a Friday evening in downtown Denver with our favorite people celebrating our love. The time has passed with a blink of an eye.

We began dating March 2000 living in San Diego, moving north to San Francisco heading east with a stop in Denver for a few years and now our home in Sturbridge. Its been quite a ride and I am excited to see what the future will bring us.

A few resons why I love him ….

He is the best kisser I have ever known

I love the way he gets excited about the small things in life, like when finding a parking spot up front in a crowded lot gets him giddy

He quotes movies and laughs at himself even if no one else gets it

He makes me laugh when I dont want to

He gave me two beautiful children that take my breath away

He is an amazing father and reads to little A everynight before he puts him to bed

He supports me in anything I want to do, no questions asked

Everyday in 2010 I want to do at least one thing that makes me happy.

Photographing my family does this for me. This year I will capture the simple, everyday moments in my family’s life.

2009 was quite ride for myself and Jayne Jewell Photography. As I looked back on my 2009 goals this weekend, opening a photography business wasn’t even on the list. I knew I wanted to learn how to take better photos but in my mind it was to capture my family’s memories.

I immersed myself in everything photography, clicked my camera almost daily and participated in a few workshops which can be read about here. I opened my blog and camera for business in September of this year and wow did it go fast! I photographed over 40 families in this short time and oh my goodness was it a fun, wild ride! I am so very grateful to all the families who trusted me to capture their photographs this year (watch your email I have a special treat for you as a thank you).

My husband whom was patient with my long work hours and didn’t complain that I came to bed after midnight for almost four months

My beautiful children who sat on my lap for cuddles as I edited photos

To my girlfriend Christa who inspired me to start a photography business, for your mentoring and because you held my hand /pushed me to register a domain name for my blog the weekend in NYC wasn’t bad either!

The amazing women in my life that have encouraged me, cheered me on and loved me for years, Tani, Loren, Tina, Emily, and Joelle
