Being the photographer of the family I am rarely in photos with my children. Every time I hand the camera to my husband the photos are blurry, or I end up in the bottom left corner of the photo with the focus on the salt and pepper shaker on the table or whatever else is near me. We joke in my house that when our children look back at all the photos of their childhood there will be no record I was ever here.
I teamed up with Carrie and she took these photos and then handed them over to me to process. Thank you so much Carrie!

Awesome. We do totally, as photographers, neglect getting in front of the lens and being captured with our families….I am SO guilty of it and that will have to be my New Year’s resolution….to do better with that.
