my family
Posted on December 18, 2009
Being the photographer of the family I am rarely in photos with my children. Every time I hand the camera to my husband the photos are blurry, or I end up in the bottom left corner of the photo with the focus on the salt and pepper shaker on the table or whatever else is near me. We joke in my house that when our children look back at all the photos of their childhood there will be no record I was ever here.
I teamed up with Carrie and she took these photos and then handed them over to me to process. Thank you so much Carrie!

Short on words today getting all my last minute orders complete. My good friend Amy asked me to do a mini session for their holiday cards. We had a blast playing in the snow.

My family is very blessed to have our dear friend Pam in our lives. Pam has been caring for my children for four years since my son was a year old. She is the most amazing woman, mom, and friend. She cares for my children like they are her own and I trust her with their lives. Pam takes care of all of us helping with the meals, dealing with the witching hour tantrums, doing dishes, making up games, playing the same made up stories day after day, creating crafts, legos, kid snot and even diapering my children with cloth! Every birthday and holiday she pays special attention to the little things and brings my children gifts they treasure. She knits them spiderman hats, gorgeous flower hats, and even make Miss J barrettes.
Pam you are a gift to us and we are forever grateful for you. We love you!

Photos of a few of her talents.

Pam made each of these gifts for my family. What is even more amazing is that she made them with only 5 fingers. Pam was born with 2 fingers on one hand and 3 on the other. Pam you are very talented! Everyday you amaze me. Thank you for all you do for us. I love you! xoxo
Massachusetts first snow of the season

Saturday evening Massachusetts got our first real snow for the winter. I jumped at the chance to capture a few photos. I must admit I have been pretty bad at getting my camera out for my own children lately!

Wow! It has been a while since I have blogged. I have been bust catching up with orders and spending some much needed time with my family.
This next post is of my dear friend Rebecka and her family. Rebecka has been very good to me. I moved here from Colorado and as soon as I met her she gave me her friendship, welcomed me into her life, and introduced me to her friends. When I started on this photography adventure she supported me, cheered me on and even offered to host a photo party.
Thank you Rebecka, for your friendship and your support! I adore you! I can’t wait to photograph you all again soon!
xoxo
