I had the wonderful gift of photographing this amazing young man last week. Rather than telling you the story myself I have included an article written about him.

Jon is a true inspiration. I am in awe of him. Jon and 10 of his family and friends participated in the Live strong challenge in Philadelphia raising over $4000.00 for the cause.

I am equally inspired by Jon’s Mom Diane. She is my husbands business partner and does her best to keep organized. That is of itself is a feat! LOL :) I can only imagine how much worry I would have if my child was battling an illness. Diane, I think the world of you and have deep respect for you as a business women, Mom and woman.
On Aug 3 2009 Jon had a cat-scan and blood work done. He and his Mom are happy to report that Jon is cancer free! As I write this it brings tears to my eyes. His story has touched my heart and reminds me of everything I have to be grateful for.
Please enjoy these senior pictures of an extraordinary, handsome young man.

WOW! I cried reading this. The pictures capture his maturity and youth at the same time. Congratulations John. Fantastic pictures of a handsome young man.
Really great pics and a great inspirational story. I know Jon and his Mom and they kicked ass in defeating cancer, and it is great to see some great senior photos of Jonathan. Great work Jayne
What an amazing story. Thanks for posting Jayne! And great senior pics! Mine were so lame compared to these!
He is handsome! LOL.. I may be a little bias since I am his Mom.. I can’t wait to see the rest of them these are awesome.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jon at school since he was in the 9th grade. He is an extraordinary person, that I have truly enjoyed getting to know. His strength through his cancer battle was amazing and I will honestly miss him when he graduates. The pictures really capture who Jon is! (p.s. my fav. is the black/white in uniform on the right)
I have watched Jon grow up to be a very smart and handsome young man, I couldn’t be prouder of him or his Mom, they are both wonderful people. These pictures are beautiful, I love the tone you set and I can’t wait to see them all.
What a beautiful story Jayne, so glad for the recent good news! Sidenote: what a looker!
Handsome guy for sure.
I’ve known Jon & Diane for many years now, as well as their family. Jon and Diane have been an inspiration to all that know them with their positive attitude and the way they “took the bull by the horns” and fought a hard fight!! Diane is an amazing woman with an even more amazing (and handsome) son!!
Amazing story! I got so choked up reading the article, and especially after seeing these uplifting handsome pics of an inspiring survivor. Amazing job Jon and Jayne! xoxo, Christa
